The delegation of Turkmenistan takes part in the 110th session of the International Labor Conference, held in a hybrid format from May 27 to June 11 of this year in Geneva.
Representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the National Center of Trade Unions and other institutions of the country will discuss issues of ensuring decent work, reducing the economic consequences of the pandemic for the global labor market, and strengthening the social protection of the population.
The delegation of Turkmenistan is expected to report on plans to implement the social segment of the National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052, as well as the further cooperation with the International Labor Organization on the implementation of the provisions of the fundamental, governing and technical conventions and recommendations of the ILO.
