On March 30, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari hosted an Interfaith Iftar dinner for Heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited in Islamabad.
In his speech, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan noted the importance of strengthening and developing of interfaith relations. He said that international community must work together to overcome Climate Change, COVID, Economic and Geopolitical challenges of the modern world.
Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov, speaking at the event, recalled that the current year, 2023, has been declared by the UN General Assembly as the International Year of Dialogue as a Guarantee of Peace. He also congratulated Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and all Pakistani People with the news, that the European Union has removed Pakistan from the list of "High Risk Third Countries", which is an important positive step to promote Pakistan's business, trade and economy.
The event took place in a solemn and pleasant atmosphere.
