On June 15, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia M.Ayazov met with the Chairman of the Urban Development Committee of the Republic of Armenia Armen Gularyan.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on urban planning both in Turkmenistan and in Armenia, on establishing cooperation between the architectural and construction universities of the two countries.
The Ambassador noted the high pace of construction of residential buildings in Turkmenistan, entire residential areas, new facilities for various purposes, and spoke about the modern city of Arkadag.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador handed over a letter from the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.Meredov to the Chairman of the Urban Development Committee of Armenia with an invitation to take part in the opening ceremony of the new modern city of Arkadag, which was accepted with gratitude.
