On June 15, 2023, the Batken Regional Music and Drama Theater named after A.Zhainakov hosted the next “Pyragy” performance dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi. The play was attended by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Sh.Meredov, First Deputy Minister of culture, information, sports and youth policy of the Kyrgyz Republic K.Imanaliev and many spectators.
K.Imanaliev highly appreciated the production of the performance, the work of the artists and the director and thanked them for their accomplished work in introducing the Kyrgyz audience to the work of the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi.
On the same day, the Ambassador met with the First Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative (Governor) of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken Region Marufan Tulaev.
During the meeting, issues of developing interregional cooperation were discussed, in particular, between the Ahal velayat of Turkmenistan and the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, which are sister regions.
In addition, M.Tulaev got acquainted with the city of Arkadag, which is being built on the basis of the concept of a "smart" city.
