On June 17, 2023, in Mashhad, in the Khorasan-Razavi province of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a conference was held on the topic “Export and trade opportunities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan”.
The event was attended by a delegations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, leaders and representatives of the province of Khorasan-Razavi, the Department of trade, industry, mining and agriculture of the province, the Joint Iranian-Turkmen Chamber of commerce, Organizations of industry, mining and trade, Iranian businessmen, as well as the Iranian ambassador to Turkmenistan.
The participants of the conference discussed issues of trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and Iran, exchanged views on areas related to the further development of these relations, on opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship and trade.
As part of their visit to Iran, Turkmen entrepreneurs and businessmen took part in trade and economic events in the cities of Bojnourd (Northern Khorasan) and Gurgen (Gulistan), during which they got acquainted with the work of production and construction industrial organizations in the province of Northern Khorasan, as well as with the exhibition construction goods in the city of Gurgen.
