On June 22, 2023, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan A.Bayramov met with the Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Yuumi Yoshikawa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
At the meeting, a number of issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed. In particular, the parties stressed the importance of holding political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Japan in 2023.
It was noted that the two countries are effectively cooperating not only on a bilateral basis, but also within the framework of international structures.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador announced the readiness of the Turkmen side to organize a visit to Turkmenistan by the Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Yuumi Yoshikawa.
