On July 28, 2023, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia M.Ayazov and the Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia Karen Ivanov.
At the beginning of the meeting, K.Ivanov informed the ambassador about the results of the visit of the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia to Turkmenistan. He said that within the framework of the visit, with the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the export opportunities of Turkmenistan were studied in a number of areas.
Also during the conversation, the sides, in order to develop trade between the two countries, touched upon the issues of transport and logistics infrastructure.
K.Ivanov said that a group of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia plans to visit Turkmenistan in autumn to discuss issues of cooperation. The Ambassador, in turn, assured that the Turkmen side would assist in the forthcoming visit.
