On September 22, 2023, in the building of the House of Representatives of Japan, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan A. Bayramov and the Chairman of the Japanese-Turkmen Parliamentary Friendship Group T. Endo.
During the meeting, the Japanese side expressed sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the birthday of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The parties emphasized that inter-parliamentary relations are one of the main directions in the development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan. At the same time, regular meetings and negotiations between the friendship groups of the parliaments of the two countries are a striking example of active inter-parliamentary cooperation.
The parties also noted the consistent development of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and humanitarian spheres and stated the existence of significant mutual opportunities in these areas.
