On 30 October 2023, the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture Turkmenistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan were held at the Uzbekistan Council Palace in the city of Tashkent. The opening ceremony featured an exhibition of Turkmen carpets, works of applied art and jewellery, as well as a gala concert by masters of Turkmen art.
The event was attended by heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the public and the Turkmen diaspora.
As part of the Days of Culture, the Union of Writers of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a creative meeting of poets and writers of the two countries dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker of the East, Makhtumkuli Fragi.
Also on 31 October 2023, in Bukhara city was held a scientific and practical conference entitled "Heavenly Elegance - Turkmen Carpet" and the opening ceremony of the National Museum of Turkmen Carpets.
On that day, the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan solemnly ended with a joint concert of artists from the two countries held at the Bukhara Youth Centre.
