Meeting with the GCC Secretary General

On November 2, 2023, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia O.Charyev and the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of the States of the Gulf (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, during which the parties noted the significance of the GCC and Central Asian Summit held in July 2023 in Jeddah. In this regard, the parties discussed ways to implement the proposals put forward by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the Summit.

The parties exchanged views on issues of expanding and strengthening ties, using opportunities for cooperation between Turkmenistan and the countries of the Council.
