The visit of the President of Afghanistan to Turkmenistan

On February 20, 2019, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani arrives in Ashgabat on an official visit.

During the visit, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani will have a meeting on February 21, during which the leaders of the two countries will discuss the further development of Turkmen-Afghan relations in the political, trade-economic, transport, energy and cultural-humanitarian fields. It is also planned to sign   a wide range of bilateral documents.
