On December 7, 2016 the 21st International Exhibition and Conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2016" opened in Ashgabat. The forum was organized by the State Concern "Turkmenneft" and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The leading manufacturers and suppliers of global oil and gas market demonstrate their achievements in the exhibition "Oil and Gas 2016". Stands in the halls of the Expocentre have placed more than 70 companies from 20 countries. Turkmen part of the exhibition was presented by the Concerns "Turkmengaz" and "Turkmenneft", "Turkmenneftegazstroy", State Corporation "Turkmengeologia", Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries and a number of industrial enterprises.
The opening ceremony was attended by the members of the Government, heads of Mejlis, ministries and departments, public organizations, heads of the diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, the oil and gas industry experts and foreign guests.
The forum held a thematic conference with the participation of specialists of the oil and gas industry, representatives of manufacturers, scientists. Business representatives and analysts from Asia, Europe and America are discussing trends in the global, regional and domestic oil and gas industry.
On the first day of the forum there were held plenary and breakout sessions, which had discussed presentations on current topics such as the outlook for the global, regional and domestic oil and gas sector, the prospects for oil and gas refining and petrochemical industries, the introduction of innovative technologies.
