On January 17, 2017 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan there was a meeting with Mr. Kim Hyong Jun, who presented the copies of his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan (with the residence in Moscow).
After mutual greetings, the two sides expressed their commitment to the further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the DPRK in various fields. The sides gave a brief analysis of the current state of relations in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, and expressed interest in their further development.
Welcoming Mr. Kim Hyong Jun as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan, the Turkmen side wished him every success in his new assignment. In his turn, having noted the importance of expanding cooperation between the two countries in various areas, the Ambassador assured that, for his part, he will fully contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations in all spheres of cooperation which are of mutual interest.
