Presidents of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Moldova discussed perspectives of further cooperation

On the 10th of October 2019, the delegation of the Republic of Moldova headed by President I. N. Dodon arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the Summit of the Heads of States’ Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Within the framework of the visit, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a meeting with the President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon, during which leaders of two countries discussed a wide range of issues in the areas of strengthening cooperation in trade-economic, power engineering and transport spheres. Also, the attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the spheres of culture, sport and tourism.
