Presidents of the two states discussed the issues of Turkmen-Azerbaijani cooperation

On the 10th of October 2019, the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan headed by the President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the Session of the Heads of States’ Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

In the framework of the visit, the meeting of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was held. During the negotiations, the parties discussed further cooperation of Turkmenistan with the Republic of Azerbaijan in political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as major directions of cooperation between the two countries in the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
