Leaders of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan discussed the issues of developing strategic partnership

On the 11th of October 2019, the delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan headed by the President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the Summit of the Heads of States’ Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

In the framework of the visit, the meeting of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev with the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was held. In the course of the meeting, the issues of activating effective development of Turkmen-Kazakh relations in political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian areas, as well as further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation between the business circles of two countries were discussed.
