The next meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek Commission on International Road Transport took place
On May 19, 2020, the third meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek Commission on International Road Transport in online mode was held in Ashgabat.
The meeting was held at the level of deputy heads of relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, held in the form of a videoconference, an exchange of views took place on enhancing cooperation mechanisms in the field of transportation and transit through the state borders of the two countries of rail and road cargo. In this context, the parties also discussed issues related to the uninterrupted supply of goods, including the coordinated action of the parties to ensure food security.
