Socio-economic issues were considered during the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty

Speaking at a meeting of the People's Council, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that, despite the impact of the pandemic situation on the economies of all states in the world, Turkmenistan has achieved sustainable development of its economy.

Significant aspects of the implementation of long-term programs in the new period of development, as well as important topics related to the socio-economic growth of the state were considered.

In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan stressed that more than 70 percent of the state budget is aimed at maintaining the country's social sphere.
