On August 25, 2016 Turkmen-Kazakh business forum which was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the National Agency "Invest Kazneks" Export and Investment of Kazakhstan held in Ashgabat.
The delegation including representatives of more than 40 companies specializing in various fields such as «DOC Co.Ltd», «ZHERSU», «KSP Steel», «Mega SMART», «ALTAMIRA», «KazCenterElectroProvod", "Aluminium of Kazakhstan", "Almaty plant of bridge structures", "Kentau Transformer Plant" "Aktobe rail and structural steel mill," "KazAzot", "Kazphosphate" and others arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the forum.
The Turkmen side in the business forum was attended by the heads and senior officials of the ministries and departments, as well as representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
The purpose of the forum - strengthening of trade and economic cooperation, the definition of its promising trends, creation of favorable conditions for enhancing the partnership between the business structures of the two countries whose peoples have centuries-old ties of friendship and good neighborliness.
Within the framework of the forum bilateral meetings and talks between the representatives of government agencies and businesses circles of the two countries were held, within which the parties discussed in details the issues of expanding the mutually beneficial partnership.
