On the same day, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with the Deputy Secretary General, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Olga Algayerova, during which the parties analyzed the current state of partnership between Turkmenistan and the UNECE and the prospects for its further development. In this context, a set of joint measures was agreed, aimed at intensifying work in such areas as sustainable energy, transport, digitalization, and road safety.

At the talks with the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Darren Tang, issues of practical implementation of conventions, agreements, treaties and other multilateral acts regulating the rules and procedures for the implementation of copyright and their protection were considered. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan informed D. Tang about the specific practical results achieved at the national level in matters of intellectual property and the work of relevant state structures.

In order to intensify joint activities, the parties agreed to prepare a "road map", including in it such items as the partnership of Turkmenistan with the WIPO Academy, holding consultations aimed at preparing proposals for Turkmenistan's accession to international legal acts in the field of intellectual property and their implementation in national legislation.
