A meeting of the Presidents of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan was held

On August 4, 2023, the negotiations of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the trilateral summit, took place at the «Arkadag» hotel in the capital.

The parties exchanged views on expanding bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of topical areas of interaction, and considered a number of issues of international and regional politics of mutual interest.

The heads of the two friendly states expressed confidence that the upcoming trilateral meeting of the presidents of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan would contribute to the development of regional partnership.
