Issues of cooperation with South Africa were discussed at the MFA of Turkmenistan

On October 26, 2023, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hajiyev and the political counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa to Kazakhstan Peace Bardolph Kennedy.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state of cooperation between Turkmenistan and South Africa, as well as prospects for further interaction in the politics, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Diplomats agreed to intensify bilateral relations, to hold inter-ministry consultations and improve the legal base of two countries.

The active interaction between two countries within the framework of international organizations, including the United Nations Organization was also noted.
