On the eve of the 10th anniversary of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia in Ashgabat, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan initiated a course of lectures for young specialists studying in higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan. The lectures of this specialized course will be presented by the heads of diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan abroad. During the course, students and audience will be acquainted with the history of preventive diplomacy, Turkmenistan's contribution to strengthening peace and stability in the region and the world, as well as the main achievements of UNRCCA in 10 years of its activity.
On October 25, 2017, with the first lectures at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the International University for the Humanities and Development, and the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi, were given by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Austria and the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Office in Vienna, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Swiss Confederation and the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Office in Geneva and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the People's Republic of China.
The course of lectures dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the UNRCCA will continue.
