The presentation ceremony of the book of the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Worshipping a Mother - Worshipping a Sacredness” published in Farsi was held in the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The chairperson of Mejlis of Turkmenistan, relevant Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Mayor of Arkadag city, leadership and representatives of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, the head and representatives of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan, workers of art and culture, scientists, heads and representatives of public organizations, rectors, teaching staff and students of higher educational institutions, as well as representatives of the mass media attended the event.
The speakers underlined that the book of the National Leader of Turkmen people tells about the blessedness of a mother for every person, about such enduring values as the Motherland, home, family, the keystones of relations between parents and children. This work confirms the continuity of noble principles that have been embedded in the national mentality of Turkmens for centuries, such as honoring mother as a sacredness. Respect for mothers and admiration of this great person are inherent in all peoples, and the translation of the book into Farsi is evidence of great respect for the Turkmen people and their national traditions.
Speaking at the presentation, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtaba Rouzbahani noted the importance of translating the book into Farsi. As is known, during the working visit of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran in August of this year, President Masoud Pezeshkian presented the book “Worshipping a Mother - Worshipping a Sacredness” translated into Farsi to the National Leader of Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
As it was noted in the speeches, the publication of the book of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Worshipping a Mother - Worshipping a Sacredness” in Persian language is another evidence of Turkmen-Iranian friendship and will serve to strengthen the fruitful bilateral cultural and humanitarian cooperation. In addition, the book published in Farsi will give an opportunity to a wider range of readers to get acquainted with the work of the National Leader of Turkmen people.
During the presentation ceremony, the literary, musical and song compositions about mothers were performed. In the foyer of the Institute, an exhibition was organized which included works of painting, wonderful examples of decorative and applied art - carpets, jewelry, ceramics.
At the end of the event, the participants adopted the Address to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
