On November 8, 2017, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of the State of Palestine Mazen Shamia, who arrived to the Turkmen capital on a working visit.
The issues of cooperation within the framework of international organizations, primarily the UN, were discussed among the priority areas of cooperation. It was noted the importance of regular political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries to further improve and expand the dialogue on a mutually beneficial basis. Also, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas, construction and industrial sectors.
At the end of the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of continuation of established dialogue for further diversification of fruitful cooperation that meet mutual interests.
