Meeting with the Minister of State at Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of UK, Member of Parliament

On 31 October 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov met with the Minister of State at Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom, Member of Parliament, Stephen Doughty in the videoconference format.

A wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian areas, as well as regional and international agenda were discussed during the meeting.

The social sphere was named as an important component of interstate relations. In this context, the diplomats confirmed positive interaction in the field of culture and education, in particular, in the sphere of learning English in Turkmenistan.
