On 15 November 2024 in Tashkent, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs A.Gurbanov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan B.Saidov.
During the meeting, the parties noted the high level of development of bilateral ties based on friendly and trustful political dialogue at the highest level. In this context, the implementation of the agreements reached during the meetings of the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan held this year was considered.
Special emphasis was placed on the issues of strengthening cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, where there is a solid potential for joint work. In this context, the importance of the Joint intergovernmental commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation and holding exhibitions of national products of the two countries was emphasized.
The issues of deepening cooperation in the fuel and energy sector also considered. It was underlined that the cultural sphere is one of the important components of bilateral cooperation.
The parties confirmed their mutual intention to further intensify bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
