On 3 December 2024, a meeting with the delegation of the Italian Republic headed by Ambassador of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Federico Failla was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The agenda included discussion of the Draft Action Plan for the establishment of multilateral cooperation networks between the countries of Central Asia and Italy.
The development of this project was agreed upon by the heads of foreign ministries in the framework of the Third Ministerial Conference of the format “Central Asia – Italy”, held on 29 May this year in Rome.
The participants of the meeting noted that the document will encompass cooperation between the countries in such fields as energy, transport, agriculture and water management, education, healthcare and other spheres.
At the end of the talks, the sides confirmed their readiness to further deepen mutually beneficial partnership.
