Current issues of cooperation discussed with Minister of Energy of Iran

On December 16, 2024, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Energy of Iran Abbas Aliabadi.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the energy and gas sectors.

The importance of this visit of the Minister of Energy of Iran, who arrived in Ashgabat to mark the opening of the 16^th specialised exhibition «Iran Agrofood», where the products of more than 60 companies of Iran are presented, as well as the holding of the Turkmen-Iranian business forum, was especially emphasised.

The sides also exchanged views on the prospective areas of partnership development.
