On December 18, 2024, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the presentation ceremony of the book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Youth is the Support of the Motherland” published in Japanese.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions and representative offices of international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan abroad, faculty members and students of higher educational institutions, as well as mass media representatives.
The speeches were made by the Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Gulshat Yusupova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov, Member of the Board of Directors, Executive Vice President of Itochu Corporation, President of Machinery and Equipment, Chairman of the Japanese-Turkmen Committee for Economic Cooperation Hiroyuki Tsubai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan Hiroshi Sasaki, and teachers of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan.
It was emphasized that the translation of the book, which tells about the activities and achievements of Turkmen youth in social-economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres, into Japanese will provide a detailed insight into the state youth policy of Turkmenistan.
Emphasizing the importance of this work of the President of Turkmenistan, the speakers at the ceremony expressed assuredness that through the new edition the Japanese-speaking audience will get a better understanding the life of young people of Turkmenistan.
Special attention was given to the implementation of the “Strategy of International Cooperation of the Youth of Turkmenistan for 2023-2030”, the implementation of which will promote the active involvement and participation of Turkmen youth in international events.
According to the unanimous opinion of the participants, the publication of the book “Youth is the Support of the Motherland” by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in Japanese is an evidence of Turkmen-Japanese friendship and will be another important contribution to the strengthening of bilateral cultural-humanitarian ties, which are further enhanced in the present day.
Also, the new book will be a valuable guide for students and children of Turkmenistan studying the Japanese language.
