On January 19-20, the National Leader of Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid a visit to the Principality of Monaco.
Before the trip, Hero-Arkadag addressed the representatives of the national mass media, during which he noted that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Monaco, and this visit will be a significant step forward in the development of cooperation between the two countries in various spheres.
Turkmenistan supports the development of friendly relations with Monaco, including in the cultural-humanitarian sphere.
In this regard, Hero-Arkadag informed that among others the Principality of Monaco is recognized in the world for its sporting achievements.
Monaco has been declared as “the World Capital of Sport 2025”. As is known, this year has been declared the “International Year of Peace and Trust” in Turkmenistan. In this regard, the National Leader of Turkmen people emphasized the important role of sports in strengthening peace and trust in the world.
