Cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Austria actively continues

On March 10, 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with the head of the Austrian-Turkmen Society Ms. Neda Berger, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides highly appraised the multifaceted ties between the two countries, in particular cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The interlocutors discussed the upcoming events for the current year, declared as the International Year of Peace and Trust.  The importance of honoring the 30^th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality both in the country and abroad was emphasized.

In this regard, the Austrian side was invited to actively participate in the events planned for this year.
