On November 22, 2017 in the framework of the event called "Caspian-Black Sea Forum. Beyond energy "organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania held a presentation of the book "Turkmenistan - the heart of the Great Silk Road" by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The event was attended by the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Romania, representatives of more than 40 major Romanian and foreign companies, the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, representatives of the public and the media.
The presentations were made by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Romania, the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, as well as representatives of the public.
The speakers noted that the new work of the head of the Turkmen state is addressed to a wide readership. The book reflects the concept of modern development of Turkmenistan based on historical experience, traditions of peacekeeping and good-neighborliness, honoring the spiritual heritage of the Turkmen people, their aspiration for regional and global integration and progress. It was noted that the main idea of the book is a comprehension of the initiative and constructive position of neutral Turkmenistan in the international arena through the prism of its historical path.
