Telephone conversation took place between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uganda

On October 17, 2025, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda Jeje Odongo.

During the conversation, the sides discussed the current condition and prospects of developing the bilateral partnership between Turkmenistan and Uganda.

The diplomats discussed cooperation in international formats, primarily within the United Nations.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the organization of the International Forum on Peace and Trust, scheduled to be held in December 2025 in Ashgabat.
