The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Malaysia had a telephone conversation

On October 17, 2025, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan.

The sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the political, trade-economic, as well as cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs considered the collaboration of two countries within regional and international structures.

Special emphasis was made on the preparations to the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held in Turkmenistan in December of current year.
