Telephone conversation was held between the leadership of foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and the State of Qatar

On October 20, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov and the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

During the conversation, the sides emphasized the high level of political-diplomatic cooperation between the two states.

In this regard, matters related to the arrangement of the International Forum for Peace and Trust to be held in Ashgabat on December 12 of current year were discussed.

The parties also emphasized the importance of continuing inter-MFA contacts on the level of the heads of the foreign ministries of two states.
