The official visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Italian Republic has started

On October 24, 2025, the official visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Italian Republic has started. The head of state was accompanied by the officials at Ashgabat International Airport.

Upon arrival in Rome, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was warmly welcomed by officials of the Italian Republic, as well as members of the official delegation of Turkmenistan.

The meeting between the heads of the two states will be held during the visit. It is also envisioned that President Serdar Berdimuhamedov will participate in the Turkmen-Italian Business Forum and the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Ancient Civilization of Turkmenistan” at the Capitoline Museum in Rome.

The signing of bilateral documents is planned.
