On a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran

On March 23, 2026, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Abbas Araghchi.

At the beginning of the conversation, the parties exchanged greetings on the occasion of the spring holiday Nowruz, expressing sincere wishes for the well-being of the peoples of both countries.

At the same time, A. Araghchi expressed appreciation to the Turkmen side for the humanitarian aid sent on behalf of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, intended for the children of Iran, noting the importance of this gesture of goodwill and humanitarian support.
