Key aspects of Turkmen–Uzbek relations were discussed

On April 18, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan,Bakhtiyor Saidov, on the sidelines of the Fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

During the meeting, the sides noted the high level of cooperation between the two states, achieved through a trusting and regular dialogue at the highest state level.

The ministers discussed key areas of cooperation in the political and diplomatic sphere, as well as issues related to preparations for international events scheduled for the coming months.

They also exchanged views on the development of trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
