Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan discussed topical issues of cooperation

On April 18, 2026, in Antalya, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of Turkmen-Azerbaijani relations. Particular attention was paid to preparations for high-level meetings planned to be held this year in both countries.

The foreign ministers also exchanged views on regional and international issues.
