Ambassador of the Argentine Republic presented copies of his credentials

On April 24, 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and the newly appointed Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Turkmenistan (with residence in Moscow) Enrique Ignacio Ferrer Vieyra.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador of the Argentine Republic presented copies of his credentials.

Congratulating the diplomat on his appointment to the responsible post, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan expressed readiness to provide the necessary assistance in carrying out his diplomatic mission.

The Ambassador, in turn, assured of his readiness to make every necessary effort to further develop Turkmen-Argentine cooperation, as well as to promote the strengthening of dialogue between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on current issues of the bilateral agenda, noting their mutual commitment to the progressive development of partnership. The prospects for expanding political and diplomatic dialogue, trade-economic ties, as well as cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere were discussed.

The interlocutors also confirmed their interest in continuing cooperation on multilateral platforms and providing mutual support for the initiatives of the two countries within international organizations, in particular the UN and UNESCO.
