The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt has been accredited to Turkmenistan

On April 28, 2026, under the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Speaker of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Turkmenistan, Hamdi Shaaban Abdelhalim Mohamed.

On behalf of the head of state, the Speaker of the National Parliament congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to this important post and wished him success in strengthening friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and peoples.

Expressing gratitude for the hospitality, the Ambassador, on behalf of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

During the meeting, the plenipotentiary representative of the friendly country was briefed on Turkmenistan's domestic and foreign policy priorities, including large-scale reforms and major projects being implemented under the leadership of the head of state. The diplomat was also briefed on the structure of the Mejlis and its multifaceted efforts to improve the national legislative framework.

During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on various aspects of Turkmen-Egyptian relations, also developing within the framework of the United Nations and other authoritative international organizations.

At the end of the meeting, Hamdi Shaaban Abdelhalim Mohamed, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Turkmenistan, assured that he would make every effort to further strengthen the constructive interstate dialogue.
