On the Meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires ad Interim of Ukraine in Turkmenistan

On 30 May 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Petro Makarenko, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Ashgabat as the Chargé d’Affaires ad Interim of Ukraine in Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The diplomats exchanged views on the prospects for further development of relations between Turkmenistan and Ukraine, both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of international organizations.
