On January 24, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan Mr. T.V.Nagendra Prasad, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan.
The Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude to the Turkmen side for the assistance and support of the Embassy's activities over these years. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of India. Particular attention was paid to the issues of consolidation of joint efforts to implement the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project (TAPI), which will have a positive impact on the further development of political-economic cooperation between friendly countries.
At the end of the meeting, the Turkmen side thanked the Ambassador of the Republic of India for his contribution to the development of bilateral relations and mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries.
