Meeting held at the MFA of Turkmenistan with the Ambassador of Japan
On 15 June 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan, Hiroshi Sasaki.
During the meeting, the sides noted the steady development of Turkmen–Japanese relations and discussed promising areas of cooperation of mutual interest.
It was emphasized that maintaining an active political dialogue at a high level, along with regular contacts between relevant institutions, contributes to further strengthening the Turkmen–Japanese partnership and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
