Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan participated in the meeting on Preparations for the First Central Asia–Republic of Korea Summit

On 16 June 2026, in Tashkent, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan A. Gurbanov participated in the second meeting of Senior Officials on preparations for the First Summit of Heads of State of the Central Asia–Republic of Korea format.

The event was also attended by representatives of the Foreign Ministries of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress of preparations for the upcoming Summit, reviewed draft outcome documents, and exchanged views on further strengthening multifaceted cooperation between the Central Asian states and the Republic of Korea.
