Meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation

On 29 July 2026, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Vasil Shaykhraziev, who arrived to Ashgabat on a working visit.

During the meeting, the parties noted with satisfaction the high level of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation.

Particular attention was paid at the meeting to the humanitarian ties, embedded in shared cultural and spiritual values.

In this context, organizational matters related to preparations for the final stage of the “Tatar Kyzy” competition, scheduled to take place in Turkmenistan in October of current year were discussed.
