On November 7, 2016 in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was held a meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Poland, headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the country in Turkmenistan (with residence in Baku), Mr. Marek Tsalka, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit.
During the meeting were discussed issues of deepening cooperation in the field of consular affairs. In this context, the sides discussed the issue of consultations on consular issues between the foreign ministries of both countries. Also was held an exchange of views on possibilities of expanding the legal base of bilateral cooperation.
Stressing the importance of continuing the established dialogue of common interest for further diversification of fruitful cooperation, the parties noted the commitment to expand economic cooperation. Then the sides discussed issues of the meeting of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Polish joint Commission on economic issues.
