On the meeting with the Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Turkmenistan

On September 14, 2026, a meeting was held at the MFA of Turkmenistan between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Turkmenistan Petru Burduja.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for further development of interparliamentary cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Moldova.

Particular attention was paid to issues of further strengthening bilateral relations and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.

The sides emphasized the important role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening mutual understanding and expressed their readiness to contribute to the further expansion of interparliamentary cooperation.
