Meeting with the Deputy Secretary General of the SCO was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

On March 24, 2018, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan there was a meeting with the Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) N. Akkoshkarov, who arrived in Ashgabat at the head of a mission of international observers from the SCO to the parliamentary elections in Turkmenistan.

The main topic of the meeting was the parliamentary elections in Turkmenistan on March 25, 2018. As the sides noted, over the years of its existence the SCO has accumulated the necessary experience for monitoring elections. In turn, the head of the mission thanked the Turkmen side for creating the necessary conditions for the work of international observers, and wished success in carrying out this most important social and political action.
